ABSTRACT

The higher production of big red pepper (Capsicum annum L.) cultivation techniques that depend on the fulfillment of nutrient needs and success of pollination processes are supported by the quality of pollen. One of the problems in pepper plants are vulnerable to the onset of autumn flowers and fruit. The crossed plants often have mature male flowers and female flowers are not the same. It is therefore necessary to be required increase the production of the optimalization fertilization and plant growth regulators. While to keep the pollen viability to do the pollen storage at a certain temperature. Theresearch ofNPK Mutiara and GA3 Aplication And Storage Time To Big Red Pepper Production And Pollen Viability (Capsicum annum L.)is conducted in Agustus 2013 until March 2014 in field and laboratory State Polytechnic of Jember.This research using complete random design consist of 3 factors and 4 and 3 repetition.First factors of NPK Mutiara aplication are P1 = 400 kg/ha, P2 = 500 kg/ha, P3 = 600 kg/ha, P4 = 700 kg/ha, second faktor of GA3 aplication are G1 = 0 ppm, G2 = 30 ppm, G3 = 60 ppm, and three factors of storage time are W1 = one month, W2 = two month, W3 = three month. The best treatment is G3W1 (GA3 aplication using 60 ppm and storage time one month) by viability percentage as much as 94,58%.
