ABSTRACT
Chilli (Capsicum annuum l.) is one of the commodities of vegetable has a sufficient economic value with increasing human needs and declining land productivity of food crops and horticulture, then needed a more effective cultivation technique and efficiency to boost crop production the chilies. One of the useful alternatives to spur the growth and development of plants, is substances growing balance. The aims of this research are knowing the effect of NPK Mutiara fertilizer for pollen of chili production, knowing the effect of GA3 for pollen of chili production and knowing the effect of using NPK Mutiara and GA3 combination for pollen of chili production. As well as NPK pearls (16-16-16) which is a fertilizer compound composed of macro nutrient elements N, P and K with N levels 16% 16%, P and K 16%. This research was conducted in the village of Kaliwates, District Chief of gardens, with an elevation of Jember Regency place 110 m above sea level and is implemented in August to November 2013. Fertilizer NPK Pearls give different results to the real parameters of interest loss per plant and heavy pollen. Fertilizer dose of 700 kg/ha for optimum number of flower loss each of the lowest plants namely of 0,0130% and the highest pollen weight i.e. 5,832 grams. Whereas the application of NPK fertilizers real Pearls do not differ with respect to the parameters age, number of flowers per flowering plants and tall plants. Suspected time and how applications that are less precise results do not differ markedly.
