Performance Analysis by Using Balanced ScoreCard Perspective and Investment Worthiness in Vannamei Shrimp Breeding Company Case Study at PT. Perahu Mas in Klatakan Village Districts of Situbondo

ABSTRACT

Vannamei shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) is one of the important economical fishery commodities. This is because in general business opportunities shrimp farming vanamei not much different from other shrimp business opportunities. Basically shrimp is a commodity exports of government mainstay in attracting foreign exchange. The vannamei shrimp came from American waters and began to enter Indonesia in 2001.
PT. Perahu Mas is one of the companies that develop shrimp farming cultivation located in the village of Klatakan Situbondo. Production of vannamei shrimp seeds PT. Perahu Mas for the last 5 years the average annual production increase of 68.27% followed by high demand for shrimp as well. Increased production increase can not be a size of the company has a good corporate performance, so it needs to do research on performance appraisal. Balance Scorecard is one tool that can be used to measure it. Performance measurement results can be used as a consideration of the feasibility of investments that have the purpose of business development and give an idea to the public that shrimp farming efforts feasible or not.
The purpose of this study is to determine the performance and investment feasibility of seeding company PT. Perahu Mas Situbondo measured with balance scorecard and know the influence of company performance on the feasibility of investment in PT. Perahu Mas. The form of this research is quantitative and qualitative research. This qualitative research comes from primary data quantized using Likert scale. Primary data is derived from the questionnaire given to employees & customers as a sample, while the quantitative form is sourced from secondary data that is data obtained from reports in the company. The analysis used is Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis to find out the cause, with the aim of predicting the relationship, as the causal variable against other variables which is the result variable. The variables used in this study are independent variables consisting of Finance (X1), Customer (X2), Internal Business Process (X3) and Learning and Growth (X4), intervening variables are company performance (Y), and the dependent variable is feasibility Investment (Z).
Based on the research results then can be summed up as follows: direct influence (X 1) against the financial feasibility of the investment is negative but not significant, influence of direct customers (X 2) against the negative and significant

investment feasibility, direct influence of internal business processes (X 3) against the negative and significant investment eligibility, direct influence of learning and growth (X 4) are negative and significant. The influence of indirect finance (X 1) against the feasibility of investment through performance is positive and significant, the influence of customer (X 2) against the feasibility of investments through the Exchange performance is positive and insignificant, indirect influences of internal business processes (X 3) against the feasibility of investments through the performance was positive and insignificant, the influence of learning and growth (X 4) against the feasibility of investments through the performance was positive and significant
