ABSTRACT
The objective of this study was to knowing the stability ten soybean genotype (Glycine max (L.) Merrill) three location differ from method of Eberhart and Russell. The design was Randomized Block Design non factorial with three replication as blocks. The genotypes used were GHJ 1, GHJ 2, GHJ 3, GHJ 4, GHJ 5, GHJ 6, NSP, and standard of comparison three commercial varieties Malabar, Wilis, Ringgit. The genotypes were planted in three different locations. Observations were made on plant height, bloomy age, ripe age, crop age, weight of 100 seeds, amount of branch, pod number, result of seeds in a plot, result of every plant. Combined analysis of variance showed that genotype x environment interaction was observed on three location trials. Yield stability of each genotype were determined based on stability Eberhart and Russell method with a regression coefficient (βi), deviation from regression (δi2) as stability parameters. The genotypes found stable in three locations were GHJ 3 and GHJ 4.
