UTILIZATION OF BIOURINE AND PILE UP ARRANGEMENT ON GROWTH ANDYIELD OF PEANUTS

ABSTRACT

Research on the utilization of biourine and pile up arrangement on growth andyield of peanuts aims to determine the optimum concentration of biourineand pile up arrangement as well as the interaction of both which influence the growth and yield of peanuts. This research was conducted in September 2017 until January 2018.This research method uses Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 2 factorials, the first factor is Biourine Concentration (P) which consists of (P1) 5 ml/l, (P2) 10 ml/l, and (P3) 15 ml/l. The second factor is pile up Arrangement (B) which consists of (B1) 20 HST, (B2) 30 HST, and (B3) 40 HST.The study variables include plant height aged 45 HST; amount of branches; the amoun of filled out and cipo sample pods; wet pod weight, dry pod weight, and dry seed weight of samples and plots; and the weight of 100 seeds.The conclusions show that the use of biourine with a concentration of 15 ml/l has an effect on the variables of dry seed weight of plots and weight of the 100 highest seeds respectively were 820.00 g and 44.47 g.Pile up arrangement in plants aged 40 HST has an effect on the variables of wet pod weight, dry pod weight, and dry seed weight of the sample with an average of 70.54 g; 53.44 g; and 39.92 g.

ABSTRAK

Penelitian tentang Pemanfaatan Pupuk Biourine dan Pengaturan Pembumbunan Terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Kacang Tanah bertujuan untuk mengetahui konsentrasi optimum pupuk biourine dan pengaturan pembumbunan serta interaksi keduanya yang berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi kacang tanah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan September 2017 sampai dengan bulan Januari 2018. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 2 faktorial, faktor pertama Konsentrasi Pupuk Biourine (P)yang terdiri dari (P1) 5 ml/L , (P2) 10 ml/L , dan (P3) 15 ml/L. Faktor kedua Pengaturan Pembumbunan (B) yang terdiri dari (B1) 20 HST, (B2) 30 HST, dan (B3) 40 HST. Peubah penelitian meliputi tinggi tanaman umur 45 HST; jumlah cabang; jumlah polong sampel bernas dan cipo; berat polong basah, berat polong kering, dan berat biji kering persampel dan perplot; serta berat 100 biji. Kesimpulan menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan pupuk biourine dengan konsentrasi 15 ml/l berpengaruh terhadap peubah berat biji kering perplot dan berat 100 biji tertinggi berturut – turut yaitu 820,00 g dan 44,47 g. Pengaturan pembumbunan pada tanaman umur 40 HST berpengaruh terhadap peubah berat polong basah, berat polong kering, dan berat biji kering persampel dengan rerata masing – masing yaitu 70,54 g; 53,44 g; dan 39,92 g.
