ABSTRACT


The purpose of this research is to determine the result of Strain One212 with three varieties. The research was conducted on August 2017 to November 2017. The location of the research was on production area of PoliteknikNegeriJember, East Java. The research was conducted using Non-Factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK). This research consist of one treatment with 4 levels and repeated by 4 times for each varieties. The 4 varieties consist of 1 strain and 3 varieties. Those are: A= Strain One 212, B= Katrina Varieties, C= Black White Varieties,and D= BorneoVarieties. Data analysis used is F test (ANOVA) and further test by using 5%of Tukey test. The result of this reseach shows that the strain one 212 is a superior variety than others. The flowering period is about 38 days after planting, harvesting consumption is 46 days after planting, harvesting seeds is 60 days after planting,and seeding number is 18 days after planting. The production per hectare of strain one 212is 20 ton / ha but it is not significantly different from the three comparison varieties.
