ABSTRACT
One innovation increases the growth of coffee seedlings through cultivation techniques and superior technology with the application of Arbuscular mycorrhiza in various organic matter. The study was conducted for 4 months, from July to November 2017 at the Seed Technology Laboratory, Jember State Polytechnic. This study was conducted in a Randomized Block Design (RCBD) with 2 factors and 3 replications. The first factor was Arbuscular mycorrhizae dose, without mycorrhiza (M0), 25 g/plant (M1), 35 g/plant (M2), and 45 g/plant (M3). The second factor is organic matter, soil: leaf compost: sand =1:1:1 (K0), soil: coffee fruit compost: sand =1:2:0 (K1), soil: cow manure: sand =1:2:0 (K2), and soil: goat manure: sand =1:2:0 (K3). The results showed that the dose of Arbuscular mycorrhizae 45 g/plant had a significant effect on the number of leaves and root length. The composition of organic matter has a very significant effect on the height of the seedlings, the speed to be swollen, the number of leaves, and the length of the roots. And there is an interaction between the treatment of Arbuscular mycorrhizal dose with the treatment of the composition of organic matter at a root length of 16,40 cm.
