ABSTRACK


This research uses a combination type solar stove with parabolic solar stove with a box solar stove with the addition of a flat reflector as a solar radiation concentrator made of a flat mirror with a diameter of 100 cm and a thickness of 3 mm and coated with wood triplex in the back of the mirror. Solar stoves are used to heat water as much as 2 l. Testing is done by comparing solar stoves with reflectors and solar stoves without reflectors. Based on testing conducted for 10 days from August 6, 2018 to August 15, 2018 starting from 11.00 WIB to 14.00 WIB, a solar stove with a better reflector because it can raise the highest water temperature to 81oC and the highest efficiency value of 18% . While the solar stove without the addition of a reflector has the highest water temperature value of 75oC with the highest efficiency value of 5%.

ABSTRAK


Penelitian ini menggunakan kompor surya tipe kombinasi anatara kompor surya parabola dengan kompor surya kotak dengan penambahan reflektor datar sebagai konsentrator radiasi matahari yang terbuat dari cermin datar dengan diameter 100 cm dan ketebalan 3 mm serta dilapisi kayu tripleks dibagian belakang cermin. Kompor surya digunakan untuk memanaskan air sebanyak 2 l. Pengujian dilakukan dengan membandingkan kompor surya dengan reflektor dan kompor surya tanpa reflektor. Berdasarkan pengujian yang dilakukan selama 10 hari pada tanggal 6 Agustus 2018 sampai 15 Agustus 2018 dimulai dari jam 11.00 WIB sampai 14.00 WIB, kompor surya dengan penambahan reflektor yang lebih baik karena dapat menaikkan suhu air tertinggi sampai 81oC dan nilai efisiensi tertinggi sebesar 18 %. Sedangakan pada kompor surya tanpa penambahan reflektor  memiliki nilai temperatur air tertinggi sebesar 75oC dengan nilai efisiensi tertinggi sebesar 5 %.
