Making A Promotional Video of SamudraSelfie And RestoBanyuwangi, Abdul Muis, Nim F31151426, Year 2018, 48 pages, English Study Program, Politeknik Negeri Jember, NanikMariyati, S.Pd. M.Pd. (Supervisor).

Banyuwangi is one of the most unique regencies with rapid tourism development in East Java.Banyuwangi has developed natural tourism and artificial tourism. One of the artificial tourism is SamudraSelfie and RestoBanyuwangi. This tourism object provides different and up to date attraction. There are a special places for selfie. As we know that millennial generation cannot stay away from gadgets and selfie, so it makes Banyuwangi create a new place to fulfill the need of young people who love selfie. This place deserves to be promoted by using a promotional video because the place is very potential to be an alternative tourism destination in Banyuwangi. It is not only a place to eat and refreshing but also suitable for taking artistic pictures. Unfortunately, this place needed promotional media to promote this tourism object because this place is still new and become one of potential artificial tourism object in Banyuwangi. Therefore, the writer chose promotional video as promotional media to promoteSamudraSelfie and Resto.
The promotional video entitled “The Lovely Selfie and Hangout Spot in Banyuwangi” was presented in three parts; opening, content, and closing. In opening, the writer showed festival, event, and tourism objects in Banyuwangi. In content, the writer showed spots, activities, and facilities provided at SamuderaSelfie and Resto. In closing, the writer gave suggestion to attract visitor to visit this tourism object. In making this promotional video, the writer used procedures from Fauzisyah in Munadi (2013) that were setting the scene or theme, developing the theme, shooting, and editing. Besides, the writer conducted collecting data by interview, observation, documentation and audiovisual material to complete data needed related to the video and report.

In doing this final project, the writer faced some difficulties such as the writer got difficulty in pronouncing the word for narration in the video. In addition, the writer also should pay attention to the intonation. So, the writer should learn how to pronounce the word properly. The writer also should make sure the intonation to be good. All of those difficulties really challenged the writer to work hard and try to do the best. The writer hoped that this video could give benefits to the visitor and related parties.
