FEASIBILITY ANALYSIS OF DUCK EGG HATCHERY IN JEMBER REGENCY 1Dio Pinus Nuansa, 2Hariadi Subagja, 2Anang Sutirtoadi 1Student of Poultry Buisness Management, Animal Husbandry 2 Lecturer of Poultry Buisness Management, Animal Husbandry ABSTRACT The aim of this research was to determine the efficiency of duck hatchery farmer consist of cost, revenue, income, profit, r/c ratio, and Break Event Point (BEP) in Jember Regency. The method in this study was used descriptive analysis. This research was conducted in several sub-districts in Jember Regency with the determinated research location by purposive sampling. The Respondent was done by snowball sampling technique, considering the number of respondents were 15 farmers. The data in this study were used primary and secondary data. Data analysis was used qualitative, quantitative and descriptive statistical. The results showed that the caracterictic of duck breeder farmer in Jember Regency 45-55 years old as much 40 %. The average of farmer experience arround 5,3 years with total hatching as much 2441 eggs. Total cost were used for duck hatchery Rp.8.074.792 per period with income Rp. 3.253.542 per period and revenue Rp. 11.328.333 per period. BEP value unit 681 eggs and BEP price Rp. 2.312. The value of R/C ratio obtained 1,4. Conculsion of this research that the duck hatchery farming in Jember Regency is feasible to conducted. Keywords: duck, feasibility, hatchery, Jember, small farmer
