ST, M.Gizi as advisor WildanFahri Zain Clinical Nutrient Study Program Faculty of Health ABSTRACT Complementary food breast milk is an additional food besides breast milk given to baby age 6-24 months. But in reality not all mothers provide complementary foods for the right time. Some factors that influence breastfeeding complementary feeding by mothers include maternal knowledge. Giving of complementary food breast milk do not appropriate the baby's ability over a long period of time will affect nerve responses and motoric movements. This study intend to determine relationship between maternal knowledge about the practice of complementary feeding with motoric development of baby age 6-12 months. This research was using analytical survey research with a crossectional design. The population in this study amounted to 34 mothers who had infants aged 6-12 months that were in accordance with the inclusion and exclusion criteria of the study. Hypothesis testing of this study using Spearman rank test with instruments using questionnaire form as a tool to measure the level of maternal knowledge about complementary feeding practices and using KPSP to assess motoric development of infants aged 6-12 months assessed by enumerators, namely midwives. Based on Spearman's rank analysis, this study can be concluded that there is a significant p= 0.001 relationship between maternal knowledge about the practice of complementary feeding to motoric developsment of baby aged 6-12 months, in Tlogosari Public Health Center Bondowoso Keywords: Complementary Food Breast Milk, Mother's Knowledge, Motoric Development
