Hotel is one of accommodation that provideservices which has an important role in the tourism industry. Hotel is very helpful for tourists who visit Indonesia.Santika Premiere Hotel Gubeng Surabaya is one of 4 star hotel in Surabaya. Santika Premiere Hotel Gubeng Surabaya is divided into some departments such as Front office, Housekeeping, Accounting and also Food and Beverage. One of department giving services directly with the guest is Food and Beverage. So it can be said that Food and Beverage is the important department to provide the services for the guests. In this department the writer can learnt how to be good hotelier.
The writer conducted the internship program for 4 months in Santika Premiere Hotel Gubeng Surabaya. It is started from April, 10th 2018 until Agustus, 10th 2018. During conducted the Internship program the writer got new experiece and new knowledge from Santika Hotel Premiere Gubeng Surabaya. The writer can learnt how to taking order, setting up table, handled complaint. During the internship the writer also got problems for example the writer confused how to setting up the table and used coffee machine. So, the writer asked to the staff how to setting up the table and how to operate the coffee machine.
Then, when the writer did Internship Program the writer also learnt how to be a professional worker, how to be discipline such as the writer should came on time when the writer go to hotel.Based on the writer explanation above, the writer conclude that Santika Premiere Hotel Gubeng Surabaya is appropriate place to do Internship Program. It is because the writer got a lot of experience and also knowledge when doing Internship Program there and the writer could apply her knowledge and skill that the writer got when studied in the collage.
