ABSTRACT
Pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease caused by the bacterium Mycobacterium tuberculosis. This research aims to analyse the correlation of the Level of Protein Consumption against acid resistant bacteriastatus in Pulmonalry Tuberculosis Patients who Have UndergoneIntensive Phase Treatment. This research was conducted in August 2018 at Lung Hospital Jember. The method with cross sectional design. The subject in this research were 37subject. The research instrument used is the Semi-quantitative Food Frequency Question (SQ-FFQ), weight scales and height gauses. The Chi-square test was used in this research and univariate test showed that the subject is largely male-sex 26 peoples (70,3%), most of the 15-50 year old 23 peoples (62,2%), the subject that has good nutritional status of 21 peoples (56,8%), half of the entire number of the subject have a good levels of protein consumptions that is 19 peoples (51,4%), and most of the sputum negative status of the subject that is 25 peoples (67,7%). Bivariate test result showed that there was a correlation between Level of Protein Consumption against acid resistant bacteria status in Pulmonalry Tuberculosis Patients who Have UndergoneIntensive Phase Treatment with (p-value=0,010). The conclusion of this research is there is the correlation between Level of Protein Consumption against acid resistant bacteriastatus in Pulmonalry Tuberculosis Patients who Have UndergoneIntensive Phase Treatment at Lung Hospital Jember.
