ABSTRACT
Peanut production has decreased from year to year. The reason is the decrease in land area and seed stock. One way to increase the production of peanuts is to maximize the yield of seeds per hectare. This research was conducted to determine the effect of SP-36 basic fertilizer application and land processing system on the production and quality of peanut seeds. This research was conducted in the village of Antirogo, Sumbersari sub-district, Jember and Jember Polytechnic Seed Technology Laboratory. This study uses a Randomized Complete Block Design with two factors. The first factor is the dose of SP-36 (P) basic fertilizer consisting of 150 kg / ha (P1), 175 kg / ha (P2), and 200 kg / ha (P3). The second factor is a soil treatment system (O) consisting of no tillage (O1), strip tillage (O2), and maximum tillage (O3). The results of this study indicate that the treatment of SP-36 dose with 175 kg / ha (P2) has an effect on the parameters of plant height of 15 HST, dry pod weight per plant, dry weight of seeds per plant, weight of 100 seeds per plant, and seed production per acres. For doses of 200 kg / ha fertilizer dosage affects the age parameters of flowering. While the maximum tillage factor has an effect on 30 HST plant height, number of pods per plant, and dry pod weight per plant.
