ABSTRACT This study aims to influence detect the effect of ZPT Triacontanol and Age Trimming on the production and quality of cucumber seeds. This research was carried out in paddy fields in Patrang Subdistrict, Jember Regency from September to December 2017. The study used a randomized complete block design (RCBD) with two factors. The first factor is the application of zpt Triacontanol (T) which consists of 3 levels of 0 ml / l, 0.20 ml / l, 0.50 ml / l, while the second factor of age trimming (P) consists of 3 levels 14, 21 and 28 HST. The results showed that the age of pruning treatment had a significant effect on leaf area index at week 7 with the highest value of 1.60 at the age of pruning treatment to 21 HST (P2). But it has no significant effect on other parameters. Treatment factors The application of ZPT Triacontanol has a significant effect on the germination of seeds. With the highest value of 87.67 in the treatment application of ZPT Triakontanol 0.20 ml / L (T2). Whereas the interaction between the 2 treatments did not have a significant effect on all parameters of observation.
