Creating Digital Map Application with an Android-Based of the Closest Health Care Facilities in Jember Regency As Chief Conselor (Sustin Farlinda S,Kom. MT) Yupita Dewi Pertiwi Medical Record Study Program Public Health Department ABSTRACT Smartphone can be used both for communication and navigation tool, that uses android as the operating system named, Global Positioning System (GPS). The GPS in android can help to determine the user location and else. In order to find the closest health care facilities while accident or emergency condition occurred, people feel hard to get the latest and correct full information of those health care facilities, especially in this Jember regency. That is the background of creating an application that is able to give the information of the closest health care facilities clearly. Other advantage of it is easy to use wherever and whenever the user needs because it made by Android-Based. The purpose of this research is creating digital map application with an Android-Based of the closest health care facilities in Jember regency. The type of this research is a qualitative research by waterfall method and data collecting through interview, observation, and documentation. Meanwhile, the structures of waterfall method are requirement definition, system and software design, implementation and unit testing, also integration and system testing. For the result of this research is a digital map application with an Android-Based that can help user getting quick location of the closest health care facilities in Jember regency.
