ABSTRACT
Research on the Effectiveness of Compost Composition on Coffee Skin and Sprout Segment Number on Growth of Cuttings of Robusta Coffee Clamps BP 42 to
determine the composition of coffee skin compost media and the exact number of enters segments on the growth of BP 42 clusters of Robusta coffee cuttings, one way
to increase yield potato seed production using organic fertilizer and the use of black silver plastic mulch. This research was conducted on October 201 - September 2016
on the land of State Polytechnic of Jember. The experimental design used was Factorial Randomized Block Design consisting of 2 factors and 3 replications. The
first factor was the addition of organic fertilizer consisting of control treatment (P0), 20 tons / ha of coffee skin goat manure (P1), 20 g ton / ha organic vermicomposting
fertilizer (P2), and 2 tons / ha of organic fertilizer (P3). The second factor is the use of black silver plastic mulch (M1) and does not use black silver plastic mulch (M2).
The treatment of adding organic fertilizer has a significant effect on the height parameters of plants aged 56 days after planting (HST), the number of leaves aged
28 days after planting (HST), and the number of tubers per plant. The treatment of the use of black silver plastic mulch has a very real effect (**) on the height
parameters of plants aged 14 days after planting (HST). Whereas the treatment of not using black silver plastic mulch had a significant (*) effect on plant height at 42 days
after planting (HST), tuber weight per plant, tuber weight per hectare and very significant effect (**) on plant height parameters 56 days after planting (HST),
number of tubers per plant, tuber weight per plot. There was no interaction (ns) between the addition of organic fertilizer and the use of black silver plastic mulch on
potato seed production.
