ABSTRACT
Higher education is a higher level than high school which aims to create a young generation of integrity and professionalism. Therefore, some preparation is needed in choosing the university that will be chosen. In the BimaAmbulu High School case study requires a decision support system that can help students in choosing private universities that are in accordance with the wishes of students, because in BimaAmbulu High School the selection of colleges is used by a manual system in consultation with BK teachers. Decision Support System for the Selection of Private Universities is made using the Simple Additive Weighting method to calculate several criteria that exist in private universities. Prototype method as a method for developing decision support systems. This Decision Support System is expected to run according to its function to elect private universities by calculating the selection of private universities that will be applied in BimaAmbulu High School.
