ABSTRACT

	Microhydro Power Plant is a renewable energy that manages the potential energy of water as a driving force to produce electricity. In Songgon Subdistrict, Banyuwangi Regency, there are several waves that have the potential to be built by PLTMH, one of which is the Giri Raung waterfall which generates 96,804 kW of generated power with a discharge of 0.91465 m3/s and an altitude of 18 m. Funds needed for planning the construction of a micro hydro power plant in Giri Raung amounting to Rp. Rp. 1.745.136.000. With the existence of PLTMH, it can increase the economic level of the community by further developing home industries and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and can develop into Energy Independent Villages (DME).
