SUMMARY Activities in Food and Beverage Division at Paiton Resort Hotel, Ahmad Zaenullah, F31150751, 2018, 20 Pages, Language, Communication and Tourism Department, Politeknik Negeri Jember, Alfi Hidayatu Miqawati, S.Pd., M.Pd. (Supervisor) and Anang Karyanto, SE. (Field Supervisor) Internship program is one of programs at Politeknik Negeri Jember which offers the students to gain the experiences and develop their skills and abilities in the real working condition. This program was conduct in the several companies, and other institutions which are relevant with the materials learned by the students during study at Politeknik Negeri Jember especially in English Study Program. In conducting the internship program, I chose Paiton Resort Hotel as the place to conduct my Internship Program. Thus, I can apply the knowledge that I have learnt such as English skill, English for Hotel and Restaurant and Public Speaking. The internship program was conducted for three months in Paiton Resort Hotel 1 and 2. It was started from 5th March up to 31st May 2018. During internship program I was assigned at Front Office Divison but sometimes I helped Food and Beverage Division. In Food and Beverage Division, I learned many things in the real work place that I never got at college. There were some activities that I did in Food and Beverage Division such as servicing guests at breakfast time, setting up buffet, setting up coffee break, handling guests payment as a cashier and handling event as banquet team. After finishing the internship program at Paiton Resort Hotel, I got several new knowledge and experiences in the real workplaces about hospitality. I could also improve my English skill and competencies that I have got at college. Thus, it will be beneficial for me after graduating from Politeknik Negeri Jember.
