SUMMARY
Making a Promotional Video of Hyang Darungan Waterfall in Krucil Probolinggo, Achmad Imron Syahroni, Nim F31150364, Year 2018, English Study Program, Politeknik Negeri Jember, Cholimatus Zuhro, S.Pd., M.Li. (Supervisor).
Indonesia is one of archipelago countries in the world, ranged from Sabang to Merauke which consist of thousands large and small islands that has beautiful view. Not only the beautiful islands, Indonesia has also many kinds of languages, cultures, tradition and so on. All of them can attract the visitors to come and visit to Indonesia. It is not surprising that indonesia is called as “zamrud khatulistiwa“ because it has many natural resources and amazing tourism object such as forest, mountains and waterfalls. One of regencies in East java Province which has potential tourism is Probolinggo. Probolinggo is one of cities in East Java that has some wonderful tourism objects. It has many tourism objects such as waterfalls, hills, beachs, and others. The waterfall become the third destination in probolinggo after beachs and hills, that can make people attract to visit.
One of the beautiful waterfall in probolinggo is hyang darungan because it has natural views and also near with a lake that can make people interest include tourists which is located in Krucil district. Hyang Darungan waterfall is one of tourism object in Krucils districts that is located in Bremi Village. This kind of waterfall is still unexposed yet. This tourism object needs a promotional media to inform and promote it. Thus, the writer decided to make a promotional video to promote Hyang Darungan in order to attract the visitors and increase the number of tourists in Probolinggo.
The video that the writer made contains of information about the tourism object included the history, the facilities, entrance ticket, accessed to reach the waterfall and the accommodation near by the tourism object. The writer finished the data collecting methods they were interview, observation, documentation and audiovisual materials. The data collecting methods used to get valid data of the tourism object such as the history, facilities, entrance ticket, and access to reach the waterfall and the accommodation near by the tourism object. Besides, the writer used some steps in doing this final project those are pre production included discovery ideas, planning, and preparation. Next production and the last post production included editing, revising and finishing.
The final project that the writer made gave some advantages. First, the writer could apply the skills and knowledge that the writer got at college. The skill and knowledge that the writer could apply in making this project were reading and writing knowledge and also speaking and pronunciation skill. Next, the writer got new knowledge in making the promotional video although he got some difficulties in making the script and the product but the writer got support and advice from his supervisor, family and friends. Thus, the writer could finish this final project. Hopefully the result of the video could help the visitors to get the information about the natural tourism in probolinggo especially Hyang Darumgan Waterfall. It could also used by DISPARBUD Probolinggo as a promotional media to promote the tourism object.
