Nowadays, tourism grows rapidly especially in hotel management. It makes some university or vocational school establish Hotel Department. The purpose of building Hotel Department, especially for vocational school is to produce workers that are ready to work in Hotels. Jember provides hospitality majors especially for High School, only in SMKN 3 Jember. The writer made a tutorial video of being a good hotel receptionist, because the learning media in SMKN 3 Jember is still conventional, there is no tutorial video for learning media. Video is media that present audio and visual in presenting message. In this video, the writer made tutorial video of being a good hotel receptionist. The video contained the opening, content and closing. The opening about introduction and the explanation about definition of hotel. The contain talked about the duty of receptionist with dialogue, as an example. The closing is about conclusion and suggestion about receptionist to the viewers. In collecting the data, the writer divided the result into three parts. They were the result of interview, the result of observation and the result of documentation process of making video, the writer divided it into three parts. Those are pre-production, production, and post-production. During the process of making tutorial video about being a good hotel receptionist, the writers got some experience such as practice being a good receptionist and improved communication skill that can be used for student of SMKN 3 Jember or everybody who want to be a Hotel Receptionist.
