ABSTRACT
Plant breeding techniques are one way to maintain the purity of the desired varieties. One of the self-pollinating breeding methods in the hybridization selection process is the pedigree method, in order to obtain the F6 genotype has a high rate of growth adaptability and stability of production, and be required research of The Relationship between Yield Components and Yield on Selection of Genotype F5 Soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merrill). Implementation of research in field at Banjar Sengon village, Patrang sub-district, Jember regency in October 2015 - February 2016, using non-factorial Randomized Block Design with 13 genotypes of soybean (4 parental and 7 crossbreeding genotype F4) with 2 varieties of comparison / t = 13 as a treatment each consisting of 3 replication / r = 3 with 100 Populations of unit experiment and 50 Sample of unit experiment. The results showed that the dominant Yield Component in determining of Yield on all parental plants Genotype F5 has a low level of relationship that is equal to 20-50% and the dominant Yield Component in determining of Yield on crossbreeding Genotype F5 is Number of Pods. Also known in this research about a dominant Yield Component in determining of Yield on crossbreeding ♀ Polije 2 vs. ♂ Dering (P10) has similarities with the parental plans ♂ Dering (P4), this a dominant Yield Component in determining of Yield is Harvest age (X2).
