Internship Program is one of requirements for student to graduate from PoliteknikNegeriJember. This activities are to prepare the students to face challenges in real work place. The writerchoose Fairfield by Marriott hotel as the institution to conduct the writer Internship Program to apply my knowledge of English for Hotel and Restaurant and practice the writer skill, because Fairfield by Marriott Surabaya is a new hotel in Indonesia under the auspices of JW Marriott, one of the popular hotel in the world, and also Fairfield by Marriott is located in big city of Surabaya, central business city in East Java
The internship program has been conducted for three months in Fairfield by Marriott Surabaya. The writer got a change to learn many things in Fairfield by Marriott Surabaya especially in Front Office Department as Door Man and Bell Boy. The main job is to handle the guest by showing their hospitality manners such as greeting the guest and full of respect and give special attention to the guest, so they will feel having good mood to stay in Fairfield by Marriott Hotel Surabaya.
After the writer have done the job training in Fairfield by Marriott Hotel Surabaya. The writer got new experiences and knowledge about hospitality. It is beneficial for maintain a good relationship between Fairfield by Marriott Hotel Surabaya and PoliteknikNegeriJember.
