ABSTRACT
This study was conducted to know the effect of golden egg snail (TKM) meal on the production performance of thirty six arabic laying-hens (22-week-old) which were fed through TKM blended meal. The experiment assigned using completely randomized design (RAL) consisted of four treatments and three replications. Dietary treatments were basal diet supplemented with 0% TKM meal (control), 4% TKM meal (R1), 8% TKM meal (R2), 12% TKM meal (R3). The experiment was carried out during one month and divided into one week adaptation and three week treatment. The measurement parameters were feed consumption, egg production, and feed conversion (FER). The result analysis of variance (ANOVA) showed that TKM meal in ration had no effect on feed consumtion and feed conversion laying hens (P>0,05). Dietary treatment highly significant effected on egg production (P <0,01). The treatment of R2 with the 8% TKM meal level had the highest egg production. Nevertheless, 12% level of dietary was a decrease in egg production. Thus, it was concluded that TKM meal has adventageous influence egg production arabic laying hens.
