Politeknik Negeri Jember is one of the many colleges creating and producing competitive graduates in the world of work. In addition, it offers intership program for its students to apply their skills and knowledge in workplace. The program is conducted before they graduate from Politeknik Negeri Jember. This program is very important for the students because they can apply their skills and knowledge in workplace.
Based on the explanation above, as student of English Study Program Politeknik Negeri Jember, I conducted Internship Program in Paiton Resort Hotel. I chose this hotel because it is good place to apply and improve my knowledge that I attended such as English for Hotel and Restaurant, English for Correspondence, Speaking, and others. This hotel is a business organization under PT. PJB UP Paiton. Thus, it can be an opportunity for me to conduct intership program because I can apply my English skill at Paiton Resort Hotel.
After conducting the intership program at Paiton Resort Hotel, I got several new knowledges in the real workplaces that very benefitial for my future. I did several activities at Paiton Resort Hotel such as receiving reservation from the guest, handling check-in and check-out, inputting data, making recapitulation room bill, making offering letter, handling telephone from the guest and checking data in developer software at Paiton Resort Hotel.
