SUMMARY Being a Housekeeper in Housekeeping Department at Fairfield by Marriott Hotel Surabaya, Aulin Nuning Novariska, F31140721, 2018, Language, Communication and Tourism Department, Politeknik Negeri Jember, Vigo Dewangga, S.S., M, Pd. (Supervisor). Internship Program becomes something urgently that needed by Polytechnic students when they want to enter the industrial business as a professional worker. This activity aims for students who graduate from this college have the ability to face the challenges that exist in the world of industry. The writer choose Fairfield by Marriott hotel as the institution to conduct her Internship Program, because Fairfield by Marriott Surabaya is a new hotel in Indonesia under the auspices of JW Marriott, one of the popular hotel in the world. In addition, Fairfield by Marriott is located in big city of Surabaya, central business city in East Java. As a result, there are a lot of foreigners and local businessman. So, the writer can apply English for specific purposes skill and English skills in doing this Internship Program. This internship program ran from 8th March until 9th June 2017. The writer got an opportunity to handle jobs in Housekeeper of Housekeeping Department. The activities that had been during internship program were answering the telephone and handling guest and Room Attendant requests. From that position, the writer learned and got a lot of experiences from Housekeeper activities in this hotel.
