Developing the Website of Religious Tourism Objects in Situbondo, Munaimah, NIM F31140893, 2018, Language, Communication, and Tourism Department, Politeknik Negeri Jember, Titik Ismailia, S.Pd., M, Pd.(Supervisor I) and Fitri Wijayanti, S.Pd., M.Pd (Supervisor II)
Tourism website is a promotional media that used to indtroduce and promote the tourism objects in Situbondo. Sitobondo regency has a lot of potential tourism objects. One of them is religous tourism object. Religious tourism is an activity to visit a holy places. The places and the buildings of religious tourism can encourage people to deepen their religion or spiritual sense. There are three religious tourism objects in this website, those are : Pilgrimage grave of Ke Pate Alos Besuki, Klenteng Poo Tong Biaw, and Petilasan Syeikh Maulana Ishaq Pecaron. This final project was made to help the Tourism, Cultural, Youth and Sport department of Situbondo in promoting those religious tourism objects. It provides complete information, such as the description and also the history of the places, the facilities and the access how to get there. Since the website will be in bilingual version, I provided a switcher button that will automatically change the language to English-Bahasa Indonesia and viceversa. It is very useful because I propose this website for domestic and foreign tourist. In the process of making this final project, I used three collecting data method, those are: documentations, interview, and observation. Besides, in developing the website, I adopted six steps from Ardhi (2013: 1) determining the purpose of promotion, 2) determining the target audiences, 3) determining the media of promotion, 4) budgeting, 5) providing the concept, and 6) production. I also applied my writing and translation skills in making the article for this website. Hopefully, this website can be an effective media to promote the religious tourism objects in Situbondo.
