ABSTRACT
The aims of this experiment was to study the effect of some growing medium and concentration of organic liquid fertilizer on the growth of on Tobacco seedling has been done in State Polytechnic of Jember. This research is conducted for 4 months from December 2016 until March 2017. The parental Nicotiana tabacum L seed var Na-Oogst H382. The research using a completely Randomized Block Design are composed of two factors growing medium and concentration of organic liquid fertilizer. Every factors consist of three treatments growing medium: soils : compos : sand (1:1:1), soils : compos : sand (1:2:1), soils : compos: sand (1:3:1) and with treatment three concentration of organic liquid fertilizer: 2,5 ml/l (P1), 5 ml/l (P2) and, 7,5 ml/l (P3). There are nine combinations of treatment, data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) and further tested using at 5% level complate research design factorial is used, and continued with Least Siqnificant Difference Test Method at 5% for data analysis. The best seedling growth was obtained in the treatment concentration of organic liquid fertilizer 7,5 ml/l (P3) with the growth seedlings showed significantly different effect in foliar parameter. The value of parameter height of plant (19,71 cm), wide leaf (6,61 cm), long leaf (11,87 cm), leaf area (117,78 cm2), and wet weight (6,69 g).
