ABSTRACT The location of this thesis is located in the cage of chicken breeder in Jember district area. The purpose of this study are (1) To test and analyze the influence of internal characteristics and discipline of chicken breeders in a seremapak to the productivity of chicken breeders in Jember. (2) To test and analyze the influence of internal characteristics and discipline of chicken breeder partially to the productivity of chicken breeder in Jember. (3) To test and analyze the dominant factor on the productivity of chicken breeders in Jember. Sampling technique in this research using Incidental Sampling Technique. Questionnaires were distributed to 30 respondents. Respondents who are targeted are: the chicken breeders who are in the area of Jember. The analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS 16.0 for windows can be concluded that: (1) simultaneously or together obtained the conclusion that characteristic factor of breeder (X1), disciplinary factor of breeder (X2), influence to productivity (Y) area of Jember Regency, (2) partially obtained conclusion that characteristic factor of breeder (X1), influence to productivity of farmer (Y) in region of Jember Regency, (3) Variable giving most dominant influence to productivity of farmer (Y) In Jember district is Characteristic Factor (X1).
