ABSTRACT Anemia is a decrease in the number of red blood cells or hemoglobin levels in red blood cells is less due to abnormalities in cell formation, bleeding or a combination of both.The low understanding of female students about information about Anemia disease also causes the lack of consumption of foods containing iron.Research Objective to know the effect of using flashcard media and booklet media to the level of knowledge and attitude about Anemia in female students at SMPN 4 Tanggul. Research Method: using qualitative analytic research with experimental quasi approach. The research design used in this research is one group pretest postest design.This research was conducted in August with the number of respondents 70 students. The result of the research shows that there are differences of effect of Flashcard and Booklet media usage on the level of knowledge with p value = 0,013 and there is different effect of Flashcard and Booklet media usage on attitude with p value = 0.001. The conclusion of the research is the effect of flashcard media usage on the level of knowledge and attitude about anemia in SMPN 4 Tanggul.
