Suharjono MP Muhammad Syamsul Arifin Program Studi Teknik Produksi Benih Jurusan Produksi Pertanian ABSTRACT One way to increase the production and quality of rice seed (Oryza Sativa.L) is by way of trial treatment seedlings and the addition of liquid organic fertilizer (POC) marolis. This study was conducted over three months, starting in December February 2016 held at the village land Cindogo Tapen, District Tapen, the regency, East Java. This study uses a randomized block design (RAK) with 2 factors and 6 replications. The first factor is the age of the young seedlings of 10 days, and 25 days old seedlings. The second factor adding marolis and without marolis. The results showed that the treatment effect is not real seedlings (ns) in all parameters except the vegetative phase, the number of productive tillers, and production per hectare. Treatment of seedlings significant (*) concerning the parameters as height of plants, as well as the very significant effect (**) to the number of productive tillers, and production per Ha. Extra treatment marolis significant (*) in the parameter weight of 100 grains and simultaneity growing and highly significant effect (**) on the generative phase, namely the number of productive tillers, the number of empty seeds, and production per Ha. And there are interactions that show the real effect (*) between the treatment and the addition marolis seedlings on a parameter number of productive tillers.
