A FAT-TAILED SHEEP BREEDING PROGRAM IN THE DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE FIELD OF FARMING IN BONDOWOSO REGENCY Anis Mawardi Agribusiness Study Program Graduate program ABSTRACT The Livestock and Fishery Service Office is the Regional Device Work Unit that assists the Regent in performing the duties in the field of Livestock and Fisheries in terms of increasing farmers' income, ranging from increasing livestock productivity, post harvest management to harvesting, and maintaining the sustainability of natural resources. In early January 2017 the Department of Animal Husbandry and Fisheries joined the Department of Agriculture of Bondowoso Regency. In the implementation of apprenticeship work empowerment, participants identify problems that occurred in the Office of Agriculture Husbandry District Bondowoso about the development of fat tail sheep. Then do the early stages of Bondowoso be socialized to the breeders about the development program of fat tailed sheep in Bondowoso regency. The method of approach in problem is by PAR (Participatory Action Research) method which can be used in the development of fat-tailed sheep in Bondowoso District. There are four steps that must be applied, namely: (1) problem problems in the development of fat-tailed sheep in Bondowoso District, (2) Information gathering development of fat-tailed sheep in Bondowoso District, (3) action by conducting socialization process about the benefits, potentials and opportunities the development of fat-tailed sheep in Bondowoso District to the farmers of the Agriculture Office of Bondowoso Regency, (4) Evaluation of the results of the development of fat-tailed sheep by the Agriculture Office of Livestock.
