Politeknik Negeri Jember, Nila Susanti, SS, M.Pd (Internal Supervisor) and Drs. Teguh Sukarsono, MM (External Supervisor). DISPORAPARBUD Probolinggo have some main divisions; there are Secretariat Division (Kesekertariatan), Culture division (Bidang Kebudayaan), Tourism division (Bidang Pariwisata). I did my internship program in one of that division, it was Tourism. I chose this department because I thought that it was suitable with my study. Here, I can learn about the tourism objects in Probolinggo and how to manage and keep the tourism object can exist until now moreover it can improve the growth of every tourism object. I chose the Probolinggo Culture and Tourism Department as the place to conduct my internship program because of some reason. First, now the tourism in Probolinggo become more exist than in the previous year and I am sure that the Probolinggo Culture and Tourism Department has many activity that conducted by them so that I have activity there. Second, I can apply the skill that I have already get from my collage that it appropriate with my internship program such as English for tour and travel, English for secretary, English for correspondence, Public Relation, and others. In Probolinggo Culture and Tourism Department I just focus on Tourism Division. Tourism division handles the tourism object in Probolinggo and also handles the license about the tourism business. There I did some activities such as giving information to the guest, handling the letter flow, recapitulating the data, joining the training and organizing the event. During I conducted my internship program, I got some problem in doing some activity such as when I should writing outcoming and incoming letter and scan some document because I never got the skill about that. So that I should ask to other staff and learn by my self to did it. Although I got some problem but over all I can handle almost all the activities there. Based on the explanation above, I concluded that Probolinggo Culture an Tourism Department is an appropriate place to conduct the internship program. It is because I got a lot of experiences and knowledge, especially the knowledge about tourism. So, I can apply the skill that I have ever got from my collage.
