Tourism is a tour activity involving a person or group of people who plan a tour with some purpose such as recreation, business, or study. In a tour, tourists need a preparation to make their tour successful and effective. Travel agency is an agency engaged in selling and arranging transportation, accommodations, tours, and trips for travelers. There are five duties of tour agency, they are arranging a tour marketing and tour planning travel, and convection, providing all of information related with tour, arranging the itinerary, reserving hotel and transportation, and giving recommendation about tourism objects. Travindo Nusantara Tour and Travel is one of tour and travel agency in Indonesia, which is located at Jalan Slamet Riyadi No. 281, Baratan - Patrang, Jember, East Java. This Tour and Travel provide a good tour services such as domestic and international tour packages, ticketing, also hotel and transportation reservation. Travindo Nusantara Tour and Travel has three divisions, marketing, tour planning, and tour leading. So it makes this Tour and Travel is an appropriate place to conduct the Internship Program. During internship program at Travindo Nusantara Tour and Travel, I was assigned in Tour Planning Division. The activities I did were making tour itinerary, determining the price of tour packages, and making tour packages. In making tour itinerary and tour packages, I got new knowledge about managing time in a tour and I knew about tourism object in Indonesia. Also, I got new knowledge and new experience when I determining the price of tourism packages, such I knew about all items that needed in a tour, I knew how to counting the price of tourism packages with Travindo Nusantara Tour and Travel`s formula. So, I got a lot of experience during conducting Internship Program in Travindo Nusantara Tour and Travel.
