Bayu Eko Setyo Budi Study Program of Seed Production Technique Department of Agricultural Production Program Studi TeknikProduksi Benih Jurusan Produksi Pertanian ABSTRACT Consumer interest in cucumbers is increasing, but the yield of cucumbers in Indonesia has not beeb able to meet consumer demand. This requires the existence of a cucumber superiority test aimed at Cucumber Line KE 3178 and 3 comparison varieties. This research was conducted in September to November 2018 at research field and laboratory of CV. Jogja Horti Lestari (JHL), Pedak, Sinduharjo Village, Ngaglik, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta. It was applied Randomized Complete Block Design non factorial consisted 1 line and 3 comparison varieties and 4 replications. The data was analyzed by f Test (ANOVA) and followed by LSD 5%. The result of this research shows that the tested line (KE 3178) has qualitative superiority of color and shape of leaves, color and shape of fruit, color of fruit base and quantitative superiority of flowering age, production per bed and fruit production with weight of 57,44 tons/hectare.
