Designing a Standart Operating Procedure (SOP) for Cow Milk Farmers at Best Cow Farm Jember Regency

ABSTRACT
Designing Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) is a research that analyzes and plans the work procedure of Bestcow Farm production process. The research is located on Jl. Raung Dusun Kelanceng, Ajung Village Ajung subDistrict Jember Regency, Bestcow Farm is one of the businesses that the main production is cow's milk. Cow's milk is a food ingredient that damaged easily, therefore it is necessary to have SOP so that the milk production has a good quality. This research is a descriptive research that aims to verify something through describing, recording, analyzing and interpreting the process of stocking raw materials until the process of milk dairy production at Bestcow Farm. This research is using expert system method which is problem solving method by conducting interview with an expert who skilled on milk dairy production field. This research is using a questionnaire as the media in the form of written questions given to the respondent. The questionnaire used as an in-depth interview reference to translate the mechanisms in Bestcow Farm, the type of questionnaire used is open questioner. Furthermore, the results of this questionnaire are recorded in a notebook. The result of this research is giving recommendation for Standard Operating Procedure at every process of Bestcow Farm production step, SOP before the squeezing, SOP of squeezing, SOP of Milk Handling, SOP of Milk Processing. The existence of SOP is funtioned as a guide in every step of the production process so that the production process runs well.
